o   Press Windows +R to bring the Run dialogue box.

o   Type gpedit.msc and press enter.

o   Group Policy Editor window will appear click on User Configuration and expand.

o   Click on Administrative Templates in the right panel double click on the system go to Turn Off Auto play   dialogue, double click on it.

o   Properties window appears in the settings click on enable and in the below select all drives. And click ok.

o   Exit group Policy editor.

o   This setting will block auto play of removable storages.See the screenshots

How to remove autorun.inf from pen drive

How to remove autorun.inf from pen drive

Autorun.inf is a hidden program that can play a program while you plug in your pen drive. To remove autorun.inf

o   Press Windows+R , for bringing the Run dialogue box.

o   At the run dialogue box type ‘cmd’ without quotes.  The command window will appear. At the command prompt enter the drive letter of the pen drive, like this, H:

o   This will show the contents of drive H. Then at the command prompt type DIR/A:H  to unhide hidden files. Then the autorun.inf file will appear.

o   Then at the command prompt type

o   attrib autorun.inf –r –s –h   (attrib <file> <file extension>  -r  –s  -h)

o   This will unhide autorun.inf. To delete autorun.inf type at the command prompt.

o   Del autorun.inf

o   This will remove autorun.inf from your pen drive. Examine the screenshot below.

How to insert page break in Blogger

Highlighted is the page break

o   Create a post in Blogger, and the page break option is in the top right of the toolbox. Insert page breaks where you want the ‘Read More’ link. 

o   The other option is open the HTML tab and find out where you want the page break, Paste this text to that position.  <!-- more -->

o   Now save your post, and you have the ‘Read More’ link. View blog

How To Hide a Folder With a Line Of Text On XP

Test Folder Created

 o   First create a private folder with name ‘Test Folder’

o   Add this code  .{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} at the end of the name field ‘Test Folder’.Now you have a control panel icon in your folder. When opening the folder it shows Control Panel. So this is the secret folder.

o   To retrieve data from ‘Test Folder’ just rename it.

1. How To Hide a Folder

Create an invisible folder in XP

o   Right click anywhere you want an invisible folder and select create new folder.

o   Right click on ‘new folder’ and select rename. Erase the name of that folder, so there is nothing remaining.

Nameless folder created

o   Doesn't go away from the mouse , with the name field still active with nothing there, hold down the ALT key and press 0160 on the NUM pad. (Make sure that NUM key is on). Release ALT.

o   Nameless folder has been created, now click on the nameless folder and select properties, go to customize tab.

Properties

o   Press on the change icon button from the appearing window and scroll through the icons and find one that has no images.

Image less folder

o   Select icon and hit ok, and now you have an invisible folder.

o   Now you can create an invisible folder in a group of folders and can hide your private files…………….

Here is a small software KGB archiver under GPL license and it is free to use.
1. Download  KGB Archiver
2. Install the software
3. Open KGB archiver click on compress files and click next.
4. Enter the path where you want to save the compressed files & select the compression format Zip or KGB
5. Select file you want to compress.
6. Select the compression options from minimal to maximum I recommend  you to select   the very best        option .  

7. It takes time from minutes to hours depending upon the size of the file you have selected.
