Create An XP Live CD With PEBuilder

A XP live cd is very important when it comes to repair XP installation and recovering files. Software called PEbuilder will help you in making a XP live cd in 15 minutes.

REQUIREMENTS

à       Download PE builder from here

à       Download plug-in XPe-1.0.7.cab(Start menu shell)

à       Download other plug-ins from

à       A bootable Windows XP CD

THE PROCEDURE

à    Download and install PEbuilder

à   Extract the downloaded plug-ins into PEbuilder plug-in folder(C: drive as the installation folder) C:\pebuilder3110a\plugin

à   For the wallpaper, replace  C:\pebuilder3110a\bartpe.bmp with your bmp wallpaper, or you can find the default XP wallpaper at C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\bliss.bmp

à  Open PEbuilder and specify the source path to the Windows installation files. (The Windows XP boot CD)

à  Click on plug-in tab at  PEbuilder and enable all the files that  represent XPe-1.0.7.cab, and disable nu2shell and the startup group.

à   Specify the path for ISO image, or click on direct burn after build.

à   After all done click on build. The process will last in 5 or 6 minutes. Then click close and you can burn the PEbuilder ISO.

à   Check the ISO image by booting it.

                 Now you have the Windows XP Live CD.

Scribus is an open source free software that allows desktop publishing  in Windows 32/64bit. Linux/Unix, MacOSX/OS/2 etc. The Scribus source code is available for free at the Scribus website,while other DTP publishing software’s like  Adobe Indesign, Quark Express sells at high prices that we cannot afford.

                   Scribus can do create pages for newspapers, magazines, posters etc. It contains drawing tools that can make logos, illustrations etc. Scribus is PDF supported and can make presentations and PDF files. Scribus can verify documents for errors. The tool box is different from Quark Express and Adobe Indesign.

             The installation of Scribus is a very simple process and it requires Ghostscript for opening PDF files. It can be downloaded by studying Scribus help files, (installation and configuration of Ghostscript is described in Scribus help files). The Scribus website also includes help files and tutorial videos that are very useful. Scribus is also available in portable version.

 Scribus is not meant for very complex editing like Adobe Indesign do. But Scribus is a very useful program that is free and open source. You can support them by adding your contributions to the Scribus team.

Alberto Giacometti was Swiss sculpture, painter and printmaker. Giacometti was the prominent member of the surrealist art movement. His sculpture “The surrealist table was an example. 20th century modernism and existentialism can be seen in Giacometti’s works that state that modern life is empty and has no meanings. In 2006 a Giacometti bronze, sculpture, Grand femme debout 1, sold for $14.3 million. In his later works were shown in several exhibitions throughout Europe. Giacometti died in 1966 of heart disease at Switzerland.

Windows XP explorers white background is changeable.I found a way when using windows 98 in a parallel workstation emulator, here is it
                1. Open Notepad type the following

             3. Create a folder with name 'Folder Settings'  in the drive where  ' desktop.ini ' is saved
             4. Choose a wallpaper by resolution 1024*800.
             5. Name the picture 'background'. & save the picture in the folder just created 
                 'Folder Settings'.
             6. Refresh or exit the drive to enable the settings.

1.Paul Klee

2.Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter after Rembrandt and van Gough he was the next big thing in Dutch art history. He was an important contributor to De Stiji art movement and group, it founded by Theo van Doesburg. During late 1920 Mondrian’s paintings transformed to a very mature form. Mondrian painted squares and rectangles in primary colors on a white background divided by black bands.

Willem de Kooning was a Dutch American Abstract Expressionist artist. He was influenced by Arshile Gorky. He draws a series of male figures, ‘two men standing’, ‘man’, and ‘seated figure’. In 1940 he became the leader of Abstract Expressionist movement. He also made sculptors like ‘seated woman’ in 1972. ‘Pink landscape’ and ‘wave’ are done in the abstract style.
