You can simply put a link in an image by editing HTML. Upload desired image to blog and click on HTML tab. There are two lines which deal with the image. The first line is shown in green (Look at the picture the line after <a href), the second line is shown in pink (the line end at </a>).
You have to replace the green highlighted line with your desired link, nothing to do with the pink highlighted line. Then save your blog and test the link.
